Don't fool yourself - the vast majority of would-be internet marketers haven't made a dime. And that's usually because they're focusing on stuff that doesn't work (or matter). |
The Affiliate Code Review
from Michael JonesOverview
The Affiliate Code Review - Wow. There's so much wrong here that it's hard to know just where to begin. If you want the short version, here it is: Don't waste your time or money. This is the very reason why so many people fail at internet marketing and making money online in general. Products that claim you will instantly be making upwards of $60,000 per month for doing mind numbingly simple things are the bane of the IM world. I can't blame people for falling for the sales pitch, it sounds pretty legit. Also, the video "testimonials" are a nice touch.
If you do decide to purchase this product, instead of being thanked for your business you're bombarded with upsells and cross sells and spammy ads and promotions. I kid you not, by the time I was done making wading through all the offers I had signed up for multiple lists and declined several upsells. It doesn't stop there, unfortunately. Michael Jones isn't satisfied with the small amount of money you paid for his ebook and videos. In the member area itself there are several ads to other spammy products. Basically, if you sign up for everything you're offered after paying for the Affiliate Code, you'll end up losing a couple hundred bucks and be signed up for several spammy e-mail lists (including Michael's own, in which he bombards you to buy more products like his).
It's funny and sad all at the same time. If you haven't already picked up on this stuff yet you will. Do you see how painfully wrong it is for a guy who just promised to show you how to make $60k a year turning around and promising to show you several other ways to make thousands with incredible ease? If his product actually worked, there would be no need for all that nonsense.
As for the product itself, all it is is some powerpoint presentations, videos, and pdfs. Nothing special, and nothing new. Oh yeah, and absolutely nothing that would allow you to even come close to hitting the $60,000 per month mark, let alone $60. Just rehashed material on how to be an affiliate marketer. If Michael Jones wanted to show you how to make $60,000 a month, he would've outlined exactly what he did to build up so much hype for his product and sell so many copies when it's such a bad guide. The only one making that much is Mr. Jones, unfortunately, but with so many upsells it won't last for long.
The Short Version
What you will like about the Affiliate Code:
- Nothing.
What you won't like aobut the Affiliate Code:
- The fact that you just wasted $77
- The many spammy upsells
- The disorganized member's area that has more spammy ads
- The lack of substance of the 'system'
- The many spammy e-mails you'll continue to get from Michael and his partners
The bottom line: Maybe I'm being a little too harsh, here. But then again, how many people have bought Michael Jones' product already? How many do you think will make a dime from using his information? The only person making any money on this deal is Michael Jones. Save your $77 and your e-mail account and avoid this at all costs.
