Roper Dryer Parts Can Be Difficult to Track Down, Unless You Read This Guide
Roper dryer parts are not the best quality out of it. If that's the type of drying machine or washer that you have, and I'm sorry for you. There was a time when they made the best appliances out there, but lately they have become somebody who just churns out too much volume to try to give you the lowest price. And I'm willing to bet that's how you ended up with this type of unit. You got it for an extremely good deal because you want to spend much money, but now I'm afraid you're going to have to pay for it because replacing the broken parts and trying to fix it is very expensive.
Honestly, check the lint filter trap before you do anything else. Cross your fingers when you do it, because a lot of the times that the issue. If it gets too clogged up with lint from the different closing your drying, you will not be able to get the same results later in the road. Eventually, your drying cycles will be useless because there'll be too much lint trapped in the filter.
If that didn't solve the problem, then I'm afraid you're going to need to do some more advanced troubleshooting, and usually the manual isn't enough help because the directions are not very clear. The reviews will tell you this, but now that you have this, you need to make the best of your situation and fix your device. That way, you'll be back cleaning your clothes on a regular cycle like a wizard once again.
Now, although Roper dryer parts are not the highest quality, I still should remark about their indoor and portable drying machines. Those are made of much higher quality materials, and they usually break down far less, making them much less expensive in the long run. If you find that fixing your 16 year old large room dryer is too expensive, and you can't afford one of those fancy frontloading types that are really shiny, this may be a good choice for you. It will be much cheaper and it will actually work out a little bit better for you.
Of course, if you're looking for information on how to do the repairs yourself, I don't have information for you unfortunately. If I did though, I'm not sure I would give it to you because I wouldn't want to be liable for what's going to happen when you attempt to fix the problem.
